It's A Birthday!

Today marks 19 years of life with our wonderful sister Becca! :D We are so thankful that we get to share our day to day life with her and as the family comedian... she has put many years on all our lives! I'll have pictures to post soon, but for now I just wanted to say...

Overheard between two contestants at the Matchbox Race Track, in Family Room, Storrieland:
David (1st Place):"Well, you know what the Bible says! The winner WINS!!
Josiah (Last Place):"No, it doesn't. It says the loser is the winner!

It should be noted that they begin Kindergarten Hermeneutics 101 tomorrow. :)

A Fun Surprise!

Most of you know that our Grandpa and Grandma have gone to Arizona for the past few winters. I guess you could call Grandpa a snow bird and Grandma has taken the book of Ruth to heart and goes wherever he goes. :) There are a few birthdays in those months that they are gone, of which Grandma's birthday is one and Mom wanted to show up as a special birthday surprise! We talked with Grandpa about a week before the event and he said that would be wonderful so the planning started! Dad, Mom and Beth flew down on Saturday, February 7th (Grandma's birthday!) and arrived at the trailer park around lunch time. The plan was to surprise Grandma at the house but she was walking to the mailbox and Mom just couldn't wait once she saw her so... she surprised her right there as Grandma was taking her stroll!

Important side note: This was Beth's first airplane ride! :)

The car was school-bus yellow... shnazzy, no?!
